kirsten and daniel tie the knot

There's so many things i love about this time of year...the weather...the longer hours of sun....all the fun activities going on ....especially all the weddings that have been taking place around here! One of these weddings was particularly sweet, and i was lucky to be able to take part in it! My friend jackie and i had the pleasure of decorating this great event and it ended up being just as beautiful as it was fun! we spent this short engagement (around 2 months) making a small plan of attack for the day and everything came out better than i expected.
(these are some of the little details as we got everything ready for the reception)
(the dessert table minus the desserts, loved the way our flower arrangements turned out)

Kirsten has spent many of her saturdays helping out with our churches'  building project for our new amazing sanctuary. so when her special day came around, it was particularly special that it was able to be held in our new church because of a temporary occupancy permit. it was so sweet to see so many people in there for the first time celebrating the love that these two had for each other and for the lord.
we stayed up till 1:30 making these little paper flowers for the altar..it ended up being worth it, and was just the perfect little touch

now it was time for the real fun to start. the beautiful front yard of the Pease residence was a glowing country wonderland! there were so many people, delicious desserts, and enough dancing to make my feet hurt for a good couple of days after! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gardner for allowing me to help out with such an important day if your lives! it was so much fun!
*I think we make a good team Jackie!
goregous sunset that met us to the party!
 Simple is sometimes best!

sorry for the semi crummy iPhone pics

I love the way our doily swag turned out!

since phil couldn't make it to the wedding, his nephew Tristan became my dancing partner for the night..he was a great date!
