2 months 2Day

Today marks a small achievement in this whole deployment deal. I think every month that i get to check off is an achievement really, but for some reason the fact that two months has passed already , seems really great. Don't get me wrong these past few months have been probably 2 of the hardest i've had thus far in this little life of mine...but really they have gone by pretty quickly. I think its partially to the fact that i have tried to keep myself busy with things and friends, and have tried to let moping not be an option. even though there are many days where i just want to have a pitty party and whine to anyone who will listen to me. But I've decided that those kind of parties are not helpful at all, and really kinda awful for anyone around me, and therefore have declined such invites to attend parties full of pitty. So today instead of saying "OH MY GOSH I STILL HAVE 10 MONTHS LEFT OF THIS!!!!" I am going to choose to say "praise the Lord that these two months have gone by so quickly, and that he continues to be faithful even when i feel like i cannot do much more of this"
