the best birthday present.

January 24 came around and i got the call that one of my best friends was going into labor...her husband kept giving us updates and everything seemed to be progressing pretty quickly so we all headed to the hospital. we got there and the hours seemed to pass...and the baby still hadn't made its debut! we got there at around 7...and it was now close to 12. once the clock hit 12 that meant that this kiddo was going to be born on my birthday Jan 25. i was so excited to share my day with the sweetest of babies. Jackie pushed and pushed and eventually had to have a c-section (my poor friend) but eventually came sweet Lincoln Grey Plaza ...on my birthday none the less! Thanks for joining my 23 birthday party little one...your fannie loves you already and i think you are the best present i could have asked for ....even if i did have to stay up till 6am for your arrival :)
