Margaret is by far my favorite client that i have gained thus far at my time at CBC. She is the spunkiest 92 year old i have ever met. every saturday she basically runs in with her walker(she calls it her wagon), sits down and proceeds to take out 20+ bobby pins that she has accumulated in her hair over the week since her last appt. She can't hear very much without her hearing aids and so let me tell you we have some really good semi-one sided conversations around the salon...but she makes me giggle and we have a grand ol time....even if she can't hear me 90% of the time. My personal favorite time is when she is sitting under the dryer and we get to sit and read People Magazine together..boy does Margaret love the gossip Mags. she is sure to tell me that she doesn't want any of that good house keeping stuff...she wants the one with the moviestars on it...and i love her for that. she usually goes on and on about how "sexy" all the outfits are and how all the girls in the photos need to be careful when they bend over as to not make the boys weak in the knees....one time i caught her reading cosmo and i tried to stop her but it was all downhill from there. thought my poor little margaret was gonna have a heart attack. This saturday however homegirl must have had a late night partying and playing bridge cause she was passed out in the chair the whole day...it was hilarious. she kept sinking lower and lower in that little chair of hers and the lower she got the harder we laughed. Love that Margaret lady.
