If you all haven't noticed yet from your experience...not all haircare products are created equal! After trying products after products i never seemed to be satisfied with my hairs end result. I have naturally straight hair with very fine texture....its also quite dry! It seemed as though every time i got a super hydrating shampoo/conditioner it would weigh down my baby fine hair and make it look limp and lifeless....if i got a volumizing shampoo it would dry my hair out and once again it would look lifeless and quite sad very quickly. After many trials and errors i finally decided to break down and buy some quality products after learning the importance of a good shampoo/conditioner. and GEEZE what a difference...and i am now kicking myself for having not done so sooner!
after a long consultation with one of my teachers ( helpful being at cosmetology school... its like free hair therapy)... i decided on Pureology's shampoo/conditioner duo in the volume series, and i have not been disappointed. I love love love this products for several reasons.

WHY I LOVE IT
1) Its super concentrated and a little goes a very long way. i have hair that goes down to my mid back and a little quarter sized dollop goes a long way ...did i mention i got the liter size? ...this stuff is gonna last forever.
2) its sulfate free so it is healthy on the hair and helps keep my color looking vibrant and shiny on my locks. also most sulfate shampoos don't seem to lather well....but this still lathers great and makes my hair feel squeaky clean afterwards
3) the smell.....the shampoo smells so so, but the conditioner smells to die for! I'm obsessed with it! also they have a series for you bleached blonde gals, and both their shampoo and conditioner smell amazing! check it out!!
4) the volume ! there is added wheat , protein, and soy extracts added to help increase the fullness of your hair strands and doing so create more body ...i can definitely tell the difference..I feel like its got more bounce and all over volume on my usually limp sad hair!
BIOLAGE CONDITIONING BALM
prior to doing my ombre i had been highlighting my hair for years....the constant bleach took a toll on my ends and hair overall. In order to fight some of the damage I had been inflicting on my poor hair i like to use a deep conditioner 1-2 times a week just to add a bit of added moisture to my ends that are constantly being straightened/blow dryed/ being hit with the elements of every day life.
1) it instantly conditions my hair leaving it feeling silky and shiny and refreshed
2) it makes my scraggly ends look like they have a bit more life to them
3) i can use it as a great scalp treatment...put it on my scalp when it needs a little love...leave it on for a good 10-20 min....and then rinse it out.... my scalp feels the love
