Thanks sunset.

Do any of you have that one magazine or catalog that you CANNOT wait to come in the mail. for a while i loved getting people, better homes and gardens, and the oh so lovely real simple, but now i am completely and utterly obsessed with Sunset Magazine. like really, i'm starting to feel like a woman 40 years older that my 21 years of age...but c'mon its hard not to drool over those amazing images of wandering trails, glistening lakes, and wonderful hidden getaways that are just in our back yard here in california. the most recent ones we've gotten in the mail have a lot to do with camping ....and let me tell you, just looking at these wonderful pages and ideas has made my itch to go camping turn into a full blown itch attack.
Ever since winter i have been dreaming of a wonderful summer camping trip on the lake...any lake for that matter. i wanted there to be an awesome tent....kayak....fire...s'mores, the whole deal. but sadly all of my plans fell through on several occasions and it never came to fruition. therefore i am dying to go.
secondly have i mentioned before that i have this weird thing about loving to see when someone drives by me with like a super awesome suv (preferably a Volvo xc90 haha) kayak on their roof....moutain bikes on the back rack ....and maybe even a car full of kiddos. I LOVE it, i always know that those people are going somewhere fun and it makes me want to jump out of my car and go join them....i never do of course cause that would be weird, but do you get the feeling. well i have seen a TON of thise recently living off I-5 where maybe travelers stop and load up on gas or starbucks as they are trucking through on their little adventures, and it is killing me haha.
So today i am dreaming, with sunset magazine about my perfect camping trip.

* the last issue i read mentioned this resort in montana....its insanely expensive (800 a night whattt???) but this is my dream right!

This is the paws up resort and it is amazing!!! look it up online, it seems soo soo wonderful.

* oh and of course i need a wonderful car to get me there.....cue in xc90 (love it)


* but really if all else fails...... this will totally do and be ok with me!


all in all i just really want a tent and the ones i love around me and a campfire roasting s'mores...but i wouldnt mind a luxury one too if someone handed me a free vacation ahha :)
